Adobe in Action values the strengths and contributions across all backgrounds, cultures, and identities and commits to examining and addressing systemic biases to deliver respect, equity, and access for all.

Adobe in Action demonstrates its commitment to equity in the following ways:

  1. By promoting adobe construction, Adobe in Action supports the use of construction techniques and materials that are widely available, affordable, healthy, and adaptable to the individual needs and values of builders and current and future inhabitants.

  2. Adobe in Action promotes a form of construction that can help reduce carbon emissions, address global climate change, and increase sustainability and resiliency, which we believe will lead to a healthier and more equitable world for all people.

  3. By offering its educational programming online and in an asynchronous format, Adobe in Action ensures that its educational programming is accessible to people regardless of their physical location, abilities, and daily schedule.

  4. By organizing the biennial Earth USA Conference, Adobe in Action helps bring people together to celebrate the earth-building community and the diverse efforts of individuals from all over the world who are working collectively toward a shared vision.

  5. Adobe in Action provides online and in-person educational programming and support services that are open to all people across all backgrounds, cultures, and identities.

  6. Adobe in Action values diversity in its Board of Directors and leadership team.

  7. Adobe in Action routinely evaluates and adjusts compensation levels for employees and contractors to ensure fair and equitable pay for the people who help Adobe in Action carry out its work.
